Take a reality check. You want the politicians to give you an English parliament? They won't give it to you because they think it could lead to the break-up of the Union.

But if they had to give it to you to save the Union, then that's a totally different matter. But to save it from what? Nobody in England has threatened to end it - until now.

You have to raise the stakes to try and win any concessions.

I hope not, he provides too much entertainment on this forum for him to go. More seriously I don't think he should have to fall on his sword for the collective failure of the ED party at these elections. They're all responsible and should collectively and fully united accept responsibility and seek a positive way forward.
