MATT O’CONNOR HITS THE MARK! Campaigning in Harrow on last Saturday English Democrats activists received a very warm welcome from the town. The number of people who came up to the canvassers asking for information and saying what a refreshing change Matt’s political broadcast had been said it all! One visitor to the English Democrats website said: “I just want to wish you all the best now and in the future. I can't vote
(I'm Norwegian, albeit a reasonably anglophile one), so my opinion is
of little use, but I can only say that the broadcast by Matt O'Connor
after Friday's TV news was the most stirring and evocative I have heard
for a long time. Since I can't vote I never pay much attention to these
things, but it didn't take long before I stopped what I was doing and
started listening. Here was a man that said exactly what had been on my mind for ages. Wow!

It's always been a mystery to me why such simple things are so hard for
mainstream politicians to see and understand -- it's as if they live in
a vacuum, in perfect isolation from reality. Truth is so simple, yet
so hard to come by in the grand political landscape, and other attempts
by smaller parties to field a similar agenda have invariably stranded
on the idiosyncrasies of their leaderships. Matt comes across as both
an intelligent intellectual and a regular guy you'd have a couple of
pints with.

What’s happened to Scotland's sense of humour? The English Democrats are the National Party for England, so it is part of our mission to liberate English Democracy from the minority Scottish government that has stolen our right to govern ourselves. Liberal Democrat and Conservative parties have equally betrayed the people of England, by actively seeking to break up the country into 9 Euro Regions. Both parties reject democratic principles and refuse to let England debate devolution or have a referendum on England’s devolved future. Labour, Liberal Democrat and Tory have failed our country, now is the time for a fresh political voice that is driven from the grass roots of this Nation. English Democrats, putting England back on the map!
