An interesting email was sent to me today via a number of different sources and I thought you may be interested in reading it.

It’s nice to see this and everyone else that you’re writing to. I got a post from O’Connor yesterday saying that we should handle our problems offline. Nice try. He sends a post blasting the US organization, I respond, everyone gets into the act, and now he wants to take it offline. That wouldn’t have to do with his mayoral race, would it?

I should never have gotten into it. The reality is that we were trying to work something out with Matt last summer in DC, but he was all a ruse. We put our cards on the table and the group of us showed that our intentions were good. Two weeks or so later he set about to divide and conquer by asking me if I’d had contact with his so-called detractors in the UK (people like you guys). I said yes and then I was out because he couldn’t trust me.

Matt did not want any kind of settlement with me because he had already written his book that is full of lies, including about me that anger me too much. To describe that I was a coward in New York, discussing it as if he was there when we were being followed by 3 cars of FBI and NYC Special Agents who were also staying in the hotel rooms next to us. Matt failed to make the trip, sending Jason and Jolly only, and the thing was a screw-up from the minute he shot his mouth off to the Shropshire Press describing the venture before it happened. That paper was presented to Jason at the NYC airport with a “what’s this?” Nothing officer – we’re just going to get a banner and climb the Brooklyn Bridge in the name of Matt O’Connor. That’s the truth, but Matt seeks to take out his vindictive rage and anger against me by falsely painting me as a coward.

He does the same a chapter or two later when describing how I betrayed him with the US org. He said in my living room (he even faults me for my “small” house”) that all the money would go to the UK and he’d send some back, followed by, “That’s exactly how Greenpeace does it.” My response was that is not how Greenpeace does it, showed him again what we were doing, which is how Greenpeace does it, and that’s what we have now. We are fully loaded and ready to roll, finally. Matt wants none of that. I have always described him as a fisherman who takes his crew on a boat to sea. The nets are full of holes, but enough fish are caught for Matt and no one else. He doesn’t seem interested in shoring up those holes and no one wants to go fishing with him anymore.

When Matt went to the toilet during the meeting at my house, Nadine quietly told Kurt that business really should be taken care of in the US. Matt would have none of that and instead set his sights on me. The only thing that saved me was the implosion in the UK, when Matt was called out for the practices there that we knew to avoid here. We are thankful that you stood up to him in the UK because it saved us. So, he doesn’t twist things in his book about me, but lies completely with a wicked, ugly vengeance. That’s his style. Fortunately, I think I was one of only ten people who bought his yellow pages and have since wiped with them.

Fast forward to Matt’s rotten post forwarded in the name of “Father’s Rights Solidarity” courtesy of South African Jeremy Swanson, now of Canada, who asks me what’s up immediately after he sends it to his very effective distribution list. I write back and say, Jeremy, I’ve always liked you but there are two sides to this. Here’s the info. No response to that, and the next day Matt’s damning post is being sent, courtesy of Jeremy’s forward, to lists and to me by numerous people. I write back to Jeremy, only, and “thank him” for causing this and not correcting it. When he didn’t relent or correct anything I described that he was only painting a turd as Matt’s shill and mouthpiece. While all of this had been done between us, as I thought “man to man”, he sent our string to Matt, causing Jenny to respond.

I didn’t respond to Jenny, even though I was tempted to answer her prompt for me to also go after her with something about how she should get enough of being called a “stupid c**t” and “f***ing tart” from Matt, as I heard numerous times while cringing when I was there. But, I don’t want this to escalate further. It’s not about any one person, but about the work that many people have accomplished together here with complete transparency and accountability to build an organization that will resonate against the real enemy – the family courts. To have the good people who have donated time and money, what little they have, to try to make something happen here in the right ways and to then have that disparaged by someone like Matt who no longer has anything to offer was too much. I lashed out to protect them, and in anger over his lies about me that have been festering.

I’m not sure why Glenn Sacks is fanning the flames, but tabloid sensationalism helps to sell the ads that he runs on his web site and blogs. I was with Glenn in the hopes that we could get F4J-style activism in the US, but a solid organization needs to be here to create and then support that. That’s where Matt failed, that’s where I offered to help, that’s how I got in deep, and that’s what I do now with a few others who are just as committed, maybe more. No pay, nothing but grief, contact with people who kill themselves because of depression, long hours, hard work. What a job. That’s the piece of work that Matt didn’t want to do, but he still faults us. Now that chapters are being set up to run properly here we’ll let all of those people help take the heat. They will then understand what I and others have been going through for far too long to get the job done right.

I’ve described the problems with the Brooklyn Bridge attempt. Further, you don’t do a stunt inside the Lincoln Memorial successfully, with the operative word being “inside”. What will and did happen is the authorities will shut out the public and tell you that you will be gassed if you don’t get down, as happened to Jolly and Mike. Matt doesn’t tell that when I heard about this I contacted him immediately and said that there’s history between us but I’m worried about those guys. How can I help? His response was who’s doing the PR? I’m supposed to do PR for his stunt that I don’t know about! I’ve got the emails of this and a thousand other things that show who is the real problem here, but I haven’t pulled a “Jeremy Swanson” by sharing it. Matt didn’t pay for that stunt but promoted it for himself, and has since neglected his failure as surely as he’s neglected the UK guys whose fines he promised to pay and didn’t. What’s most interesting is that the majority of the sentiment over the Lincoln stunt from fathers was negative! I’m don’t agree with them, but we still need to figure that one out.

You climb the Golden Gate Bridge and you pass signs that describe a $10,000 fine for climbing it. The perpetrators of the Tibetan demo there are now facing felony conspiracy charges and more. They will probably get off easy, much easier than we would because we are not perceived well in great part because of the infighting and tyrannical tendencies of creeps who all want to be “king of the lepers”. I keep telling Matt that I’ll see him differently once he’s able to work with the real UK heroes that he has trashed, betrayed, lied to, and everything else that’s dirty.

Sorry about all of the words, but maybe I should write a book of my own... Since I don’t have time to do that, I’ll just retain all of the information like this, sew it together, and it’s a done deal if needed. If there are inaccuracies here please let me know. I certainly have plenty of faults, too, but I don’t chop people’s heads off when they point them out. Unlike Matt, I can handle and prefer the truth (justice and equality).

Just what is the point of this anonymous tittle tattle! We would not expect someone using the pseudonym 'celticwarrior' (in the mistaken belief that there are no English celts) to post anything useful or constructive!

This snide piece seems akin to the Zinoviev Letter and is probably posted here with a similar purpose in mind. Sad really.

That may just be one of the many things to come out about Matt, I know that there is much more in his closet but I am not able to say. However I know people who held senior positions in the old F4J.
