I'm suggesting by hand she meant they gave examples of how the English could organise, therefore we are not talking about the same thing, so I wouldn't have to answer you.

On what she meant by a hand offered. You presume she meant literal aid, I offer that she meant simply an organisational example. She has yet to answer my question on what she meant.

Actually racism needn't be distinct ethnic groups. The Jews of Europe had long intermingled with non-Jews for instance.
Your comments indicate that you do not know the difference between 'race', 'ethnicity' and 'nationality'.

Your confusion probably emanates from the Race Relations Act 1976 which has done so much damage to England and the English, not least by the confusion it has created along with the propensity of certain ill-informed fok to shout 'racist' at the mere mention of someone's origins! It has been damaging to democracy!

Your comments probably emanate from the Nuremburg laws which have influenced the thinking of some people.

Derogatory comments against a whole group of people such as you have made and implied are bigoted no matter whether you want to call them racist or not.

My question is still very relevant! What kind of examples? Which particular examples?

You'll be waiting a long time before she tells you . . . if she can!

I don't know what examples, I was simply informing you that I got the impression they had offered examples of organisation and tactics and not literal aid.

Ah, another woolly-minded liberal! Which 'Nuremburg Laws' are these then? When did they become law and where do they apply - apart from Nuremburg that is?

Are you serious?

Nuremberg Laws - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

or perhaps I meant this. I just can't remember.

No, you don't know, and your intervention was unnecessary and unhelpful.

Hi BonnieD, Sorry I didn't answer, I am writing all this very fast in situ as I have to go somewhere and I am running late. I didn't notice you called me "Firth", but rest assured that kind of thing doesn't worry me at all, nothing wrong with firths. And in case anyone wonders why I called Mr Salmond a Salmon it is because I think he's a fish that can't be hooked and not because I can't spell his name.

These words from the SNP site:

Quote:
The SNP believe Scotland and England should be equal nations – friends and partners - both free to make our own choices.
What I meant by extending a hand that should be grasped is the unspoken invitation in this statement to English nationalists for a friendship not an enmity of an alliance and for cooperative existence as equal free nations. Not my idea, but the SNP's and a good one and an honourable one. I will only think the Scots are devious by this statement, as cassie suggested (in a huge font style), when they renege on this philosophy and not until then.

If that were true it would bare a remarkable similarity to your posting history then.
