I have heard tonight from somebody that if the EDP gets thrashed in the london elections. That steve uncles will carry the can for the poll disaster and will resign as the EDPs number 2 and will resign from the English Democrats Party as well.

As much as I disagree with Kentishman he will not personally be responsible for the failure of the EDs. It is an inevitable failure; why should Kentishman carry any can for what is inevitable?

I agree - that would be going from one extreme to another!

It is often eminently desirable for someone fronting a campaign to step aside and take a more supportive role eventually, regardless of whether the campaign is deemed a success or a failure. If one believes in a cause, it seems silly to abandon it simply on the basis of one set of results.
