The Scots think they have some divine right to treat the English however they like. Bear for example seems to think the English are the nasty invaders and the Scots are innocent hero's.
England's biggest mistake was accepting a union with Scotland. You only have to look at what's happening today to see that. Should be Pictland, not Scotland. Who invaded the Picts? According to SNP history, the Celts emigrated to Pictland and mysteriously all the Picts just vanished. Of course 'Celt' was a phrase coined by the Welsh when the union was formed in 1707 which basically means not-English or anti-English. Scottish fantasy history has been spread around the world, especially in the USA. Last edited by Rebirth; 31-03-2008 at 12:56 PM. |

My point is that England has been so screwed by immigration, especially over the last ten years, that what was once seen as English AND Scottish values have now changed by dilution of the population of England to such an extent by the influx non-indigenous English, that the common values that most people in geographic England once had with the rest of Britain are now mostly to be found only north of the Border. However, the claim that Scotland, Wales and Ireland are somehow Celtic and English is not is, in my opinion, a false one.

Slightly off topic but...

I'd be inclined to agree though that the Picts where probably one of the earlier inhabitants of Britain. Whether they where "Celts" though in the meaning it has aquired these days is certainly debatable. Ea of dune |

I have found no proof of that. A lot is heresay and according to the SNP they was the first to set foot in North Britain in 500bc and they came from eastern Europe. Apparently, no other human ever lived in North Britain before 500bc?
Well, erm... I agree. I am not into bloodlines and hope a lot of you feel the same. I just want to be as far away from EU and the freaky Pope as possible. Last edited by Rebirth; 31-03-2008 at 04:12 PM. Reason: typo |
