Default Veritas and the Free Bean Party

Veritas and the Free Bean Party

These parties have a lot in common.

Both are fielding 1 Candidate in London.

Both contain the rejects from other political parties

Both have nice web sites.

Both are obsessed with talking about The Union

Both have a well know leader

Veritas and Bean could merge and become the As-Bean Party

What an exciting election

Sorry Dan there is no rocket science in finding candidates and getting nomination papers in.

It's mainly just admin slog.

But unlike many people who spend a great deal of time talking about doing things I actually helped to make it happen.

The English Democrat is a democratic party, and the members will decide who should and should not be in responsible positions in the party.

As I have previously posted, I appear to have a sense of humour, and your don't.

Get over it !

Except the difference is Veritas broke off from a large, fairly successful party.

The EDP has neither of those qualities.

To get beaten by the MRLP is a total humiliation. perhaps voters thought they were voting for the FEDs and got confused

Your comments about rejects from other parties was amusing. Where do your members come from? UKIP and the Tories I believe. David Lane, Ed Abrams, Michael Cassidy......need I go on?

It's a stupid statement you make. Lots of people swap parties during their lifetimes. Nothing wrong with it. Do the FEDs bar people from membership if an applicant has been a member of another party? Of course it doesn't.

When the EDP get humiliated in London what do you think the chances are of an opportunist like Matt dropping them like a sack of spuds.

I think Matt will disappear from them as quickly as he appeared.

I don't know why Kentishman is so against the English independence movement.

Given that Scotland and Wales now have their own governments because they're 'nations'; that England subsidises these nations; that the Scottish and Welsh nationalists are enjoying unprecedented levels of support; that the EU doesn't recognise England (nor likely its parliament);that the UK government refuses an English Parliament because they think it'll end the Union....

If this isn't the right time for one, then when is?

I know why he is against the independence movement. It's because it is another strand of English nationalism, and any other strand is a threat to the so-called supremacy of the FEDs. Remember, he has the role in the FEDs of "uniting" all nationalist parties. What this really means in practice is that he is charged with putting an end to any organisation that rivals his party. The FEDs have absorbed a number of English parties to date, and will stop at nothing to ensure they are the only "nationalist" party around. This accounts for his attempts at rubbishing Free England on here and other places.

There is this widescale belief in their party that anyone who is a nationalist should be a member of the FEDs, citing vote splitting as the reason. They say we should all join together under the FED umbrella, but how do you work with someone like Kentishman? I can tell you from personal experience it's extremely difficult!

I think I can speak on behalf of Free England and say that we are unable to work with the FEDs because we don't trust them, neither do we want to become tainted by being associated with them. Sure, they have some good guys in their party, and we would welcome them as colleagues in Free England, but work with their leadership? I think that's unlikely the way things are at present.
