Default Have you spoken to anyone apart from yourselves ?

Being out on the High Streets for the last 5 weeks has confirmed to me that a proportion of people are very pleased to see an English Nationalist party on the streets.

"About time, someone stood up for England" they say.

This would be the re-action whether it was England First, Free England, English Democrats, English Parliamentary, English Independence.

It is only the most Anal people who would really care whether there was a policy of an English Parliament or English Independence.

NO ONE has asked me one question about English Independence.

================================================== =====

I say, get off your arses, and get on the streets, if you speak to the General Public you will find that your obssession with this particular issue is exactly that an obssession.

That's unless you have not got the guts to do it ?????????

With your numbers "rapidly growing" the "Mr Bean Party", must at least number 20.

20 people can make an impact !!!!!!!!!!!!

Get on the train, go up to Newcastle, and speak to the people of Newcastle, (you have a translator).

Tell them about your vision, deliver those leaflets, and tell them all about Johnny English your leader.

Tell them how your party does not owe anyone a (Mr) Bean, you are in the Black, you have a positive bank account.

Tell them how you respect democracy, tell them how you don't sulk, tell them how Richard Atkins selected Andrew "Bean" Constantine, as leader, without having ever met him.

Tell everyone, tell the world how you have been unable to motivate people unable to grow the network of people in your areas yet you will be able to do so with a new badge.

Go on, get the people of Newcastle all excited about Mr Bean

If you tell them all this, don't be surprised if actually in the high street no one actually cares about this level of detail !

Kentishman you really are so childish you have lost it.Everytime time you post something you just dig your self a bigger hole.On may the 1st you and the EDP will bury yourselves in it.I suggest you resign from your position as EDP number 2 after the london elections. You clearly are not cut out for politics.I have heard the monster raving looney party require a number 2 should suit you down to the ground.

Thanks Danny for your wise advise.

It's an English thing, a sense of humour, maybe that's why you don't get it

Danny suggested the OMRLP needed a number 2 despite their not having any candidates to begin with. That is a piece (however minor) of English humour in my opinion.

Free England this morning kicked off its electoral campaign for May 1st. We began with a huge leaflet drop in the ward where I am standing, which we should complete by the end of the week. We then turn our attention to campaigning in South West London for the London Assembly elections. Our campaigning team have worked very hard today, delivering leaflets and engaging people in conversations about our party. We were well received. Right now the leafletters are enjoying a pot noodle at mine while we rest our weary bodies

We only have a few candidates standing this time out as we are a very new party, but we are working in the areas we are standing. Our approach is to try and work in as many areas as we can, building up support over time. We are in this for the long haul and recognise that electoral success will only come by working hard in wards and boroughs, and spreading our message to the people of England.

What has made this so enjoyable is that for the first time, I am doing something in politics that I really believe in. On a personal note, campaigning for the independence and rebirth of my country is a huge motivation. While I was delivering leaflets, thoughts about small acorns and journeys of a thousand miles went through my mind. we hope our party grows into a serious political force. Only time will tell.

This morning I only had to ask 12 people to get my 10 signatures for the electoral nomination form. The previous 2 times I stood for the EDP I had to ask 30 people.

Why do you think that is, Kentishman?

It's not an obsession, it's a principle and an aim. We believe in the liberation of our country from the British state. I accept that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's something we believe in very deeply. People can reject it or support it, but the main thing is that people accept that it's a principle. I don't knock people for backing their principles and beliefs. It's admirable to have such things. Better to have that than nothing, like Labour

Funny, aren't the EDP obsessed with an English Parliament?

The only problem with that outlook is you either have total victory or total defeat. At least with the FEP, if the total victory of independence is not achieved, an English Parliament is a partial victory.

Is that why you think we should talk to the military - instead of the general public?
