Though having said that there's always been derogratory remarks made by English to Scots and vice versa. Normally by people who are proud of being British.

Oh dear.

I know it's not till Tuesday; but dare I suggest some people might have fallen for an April Fool's prank.

Yes there has always been banter, but my impression has always been that the Welsh and Scots have always taken it that bit further.
A good friend of mine is from Glasgow and was telling me he was brought up to "hate the English" I can honestly say I've never met an English person who was brought up to hate the Scots (maybe it happens) but one only has to look at Celtic football club and some of it's fans as a good example of ingrained Anglophobia.

I think in the past the majority of English people probably ignored things like that but Deovlution has actually just opened a big can of resentment and bitterness.

I guess that's a Labour government for you though, incapable of doing anything properly!

Perhaps going to Edinburgh is a wind-up, but I think they're serious about it in London.

They would be better off trying to convince Londoners they're English instead of British. I doubt if a country with a smaller population than their city, 400 miles north, matters much to them.

Didnt the EDP have someone from the SNP attend their AGM last september? I wonder what they would make of all this?

It should matter to them though. If the SNP continue to grow and manage to win an Independence referendum, then who is going to fight England corner over who gets what?
Potentially a Tory government, but I'm not sure they would be trustworthy enough and forget about Labour fighting our corner!

I don't see the Unionist parties such as UKIP or the BNP doing particularly well up there either and suddenly destroying the SNP and it's support base.

Fully informed, and understand the tactical considerations, and the challenge of trying to get media interest with a small budget.

Something a >snipped< like you simply could not comprehend, indeed you are socially incapable of making such relationships or even knowing where to start.

Tell the forum how you appointed Mr Bean leader of the Free Bean Party, without having met him, was that really a wise decision ?

Are you aware of his personal relationship with the UKIP London Chariman ?

You The ONLY Area chariman to actually nett loose members.

You need to get stuck into the Free Bean Party, and don't worry yourself about the English Democrats.

While I'm on, can you clarfiy if your wife still want's to be a member of the English Democrats?

Kentishman, Calm down. I've snipped you post and you've got a warning. You are making loads of typos because of your annoyance. Take a day off the forum and sit on your hands.
