Default Need to trust

Kentishman, I have been looking atthe EDP website. My impression is that to attract members it needs to be more welcoming. It gives little information and tells even less about the party. Apart from one picture of Robin and one of you shaking hands it does not tell us who the officials are. People like to see who they are going to support and to know there are others who think like them. To appear to be a one-man band is not encouraging.

I've been looking at your website again: CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE

You've yet to tell us what is a 'thought crime'. I think we should be told!

Do the English really need a Scot to hold their hands? Will the meeting have less credibility if Wrightie is not there?

That begs the question of whether Kenyon Wright has made a 'good job of it'?

More to the point will he, can he, do a 'good job' for England?

Kenyon Wright merely gave voice to something which started in the mid 1960s with the surreptitious take over of by Scots of first the trade union [witness the hugely disproportionate presence of Scots as general secretaries, union presidents, national executives and other TU positions] and labour movement, then the Labour Party, followed by the Conservative and Liberal parties.

Once you've established a 'bridgehead' in Parliament, you've opened the door to immense patronage and influence over a much wider range of activities. Allowing the Welsh to join in on a much, much smaller scale, provided a smokescreen to what was going on.

Kenyon Wright can do nowt , and I've yet to see any reports of any practical political processes he recommends. He was at the last English Constitutional Convention. It's high time that someone new ~ preferably English ~ was found to map out the route. The canon does not have a monopoly of either knowledge or wisdom.
