Default Berwick England/Scotland

Sky news is doing a slot on Berwick the bourder English town that a Scottish SMP is calkling to be bought back to Scotland.

In this slot Sky News have informed us that Berwick has changed hands 13 times!
and that Richard the 1st (Richard the lionheart or Coeur de lion) also sold it to Scotland once!
which doesn't surprise me, as this is another example of anti-Englishness, from a Norman invading French scum who spoke very little English and spent very little time in England, who didn't really give a s**t about England and the true English.

If Berwick want to jump ship, let um,
This will just let us know how week they are.
Can't blame them to a certain extent as we English are all being discrminated against here, but ****** jumping ship... we all should stay and fight!

The prospect of a nation state for England may cause many to stay and even more to return and fight. Time will tell. The reason the Scots are so feisty may be the growing confidence they are experiencing in the prospect of being independent, and this can be contagious. It will work to the benefit of England to have a similar movement for independence and a similar resurgent pride, confidence and motivation. I saw a little girl going to nursery school today decked out in a kilt. A sign, 10,000 miles from her homeland, that this fire of independence and cultural resurgence is spreading and that Scots are responding. Good for them.

Now England must rise to the call in her own right ...

Now, why don't you tell us exactly what is YOUR connection with England?

In particular, would you like to tell us:

1. Where you were born?
2. Whether you have ever lived in England?
3. If the answer to 2. is no, whether you have ever visited England?
4. Do you hold British citizenship?
5. If the answer to 4. is no, what citizenship do you hold?
6. Where do you actually live now, and how long have you lived there?
7. In addition to your answers to the above questions, would you care to give particulars of your Englishness?
8. What material efforts do you make to promote and protect the interests of England as a nation?

Apart from carping from time to time about the condition of Africa - South Africa in particular - are you actively involved in the politics of the country in which you live? If so, in what ways or, if not, why not?

There! That should give you something to get your gums into!

After you answered each and every one of those questions, please feel free to ask me to do so also.

Firstly, I wasn't born yesterday, I was born the day before yesterday. This can be quite important in certain instances, so I'm just letting you know, seeing you're so keen on facts.

Secondly, as I am not a criminal and I presume you are not a policeman, I do not see why I should answer your questions, thereby allowing the entire planet's flotsam to find out personal details about little old me. Any internet advice columnist will warn you against this, and against the kind of person who expects anyone to do so.

Thirdly, I don't think you read my posts as my connections to England are obvious therefrom. You also seem to have no idea of activists from many countries who have used England as a political refuge from which to help their own people to freedom. I could give you my name, which is English, but then that would be really stupid of me, wouldn't it?

What have I done? Why should I tell the likes of you? I haven't planted any bombs, given my permission for others to do so nor have I disrupted any international sporting events by tipping a bucket load of spikes onto a playing field. I'm not into that kind of thing. It's for egotists. And you already have one of those in your government, well you had one a short while ago, he seems to have departed under a cloud.

I am one of those birdies who isn't going to peck up the crumbs. Because I have every right on earth, even if I were a pygmy and not English, to support English Independence if I feel like it. I am going to do so, whether you like it or not. Trying to discredit people because you want them silenced or out of your way isn't the best kind of strategy. It's a bit naff.

Where you were born has no bearing on whether you do or should support English independence or not I totally agree with you.

I have never visted or am likely to visit Zimbabwe but I still support the removal of Mugabe.

There is much in this country to be angry about, but fake anger and indignation does not wash with me either.

Whoever and whatever you support you have my backing if you do it honestly and peacefully, I may disagree with your views but you have the right to have them heard, and those who seek to silence you via shouting are normally full of hot air and indedequate in some way.

I'll tell you why. Because I have asked (NOT demanded) a number of factual questions about you personally which would reveal the extent of your credibility or lack of it to presume to pronounce your warped opinions about England!

Why? Because you've pursued a vendetta against me, a native born Englishman, who has lived here all his life and who can (for what it matters) trace his ancestry in England back hundreds of years and because I decided to expose you for what you truly are ~ a foreigner seeking to purvey her notions whilst misrepresenting her true identity, as further evidenced by her refusal to provide facts!

I haven't asked your name or your address or your age, which are really personal questions. I notice that you mention such irrelevancies in your desperate attempt to obfuscate the situation.

I'm glad that you've remained secretive and been silly enough to refuse to answer my questions, because it leaves me free to do so. So, here are the answers you refuse to disclose:

1. South Africa
2. Never.
3. No, never.
4. No.
5. South African.
6. South Africa, all my life.
7. One of parents (my father) was born in England.
8. None.

I do not believe that you engage in any materially constructive political action in the society in which you live. However, I do believe that, lacking any close friends, you indulge in petty, vindictive postings of websites such as this.

Now, anybody reading this exchange can see you for what you actually are ~ a fraud!

Thank you so much for supporting the removal of Mugabe. If there were more such as you he would be gone. People like you give hope to those who have no communication and look up at the sky every day wondering if anyone knows of their situation, or cares. Everyone who adds their strength and voice adds weight to the eventual freedom of Zimbabwe's people. There are many exiles living in SA who work to this end. And Zim is just the tip of the iceberg in the horror story unfolding across Africa.
