I think the answer is to start with a clean slate. There are already people working on the project from all over England, we have already done a lot of work which will ensure we are a proper nationwide organisation.

Thank you Richard for your reply.However it takes a long time to first get things sorted through the electoral commission and then theres funding which you are desperately going to need.

Outside this fevered little clique of wannabees nobody is interested in setting up yet another gasworks.

People are worried about immigration, the NHS, crime, even the EU. They couldn't give a damn about this rubbish.

All these pitiful little PC parties mince around the big issue of immigration like a pack of gay mime artists. They're a total waste of space.

And we know that every one of them is after a well-paid job in their precious 'English Parliament'. The hilarious fact is that with PR something like the BNP will clean up the dissident vote and they will be left high and dry.

Thank you for your replies. This project hasn't been undertaken lightly and due consideration has been given to the issues you raise. However, we think we have a good plan for immigration, and we know it is right up there among peoples' concerns.

Wink Too many at the party?

There are six English parties registered

England First Party
English Democrats Party
English Independence Party
English National Party
English Parliamentary Party
English Progressive and Liberty Party

The English National Party is a name owned by the EDP (and which they have used), so really there are five. English National Party Manifesto Policies
English National Party

The EFP are former BNP types.

What another party will achieve I do not know.

I have it on good authority that the last two you mention have become part of the EDP, which leaves just three. Out of those three, two are in favour of independence, and they are very small parties that havent developed a nationwide base of support. Both are supposed to have very right wing leanings. The EDP have about 1200 members, so there is plenty of scope for another party, especially a mainstream one.

A more detailed look at the Electoral Commission Web Site actually shows that there are already 12 Registered Parties with England or English in the name (or the Logo)

================================================== ======
1 English Democrats Party - Registered to Robin Tilbrook & his gang

2 English National Party - Registered to Mike Blundell (South West Area Chairman English Democrats)

3 New England Party - Registered to Mike Tibby - (Dartford Chairman of the English Democrats)

4 English Parliamentary Party - Registered to Gerald Morgan - (Patron of the English Constituion Convention and PPC for the English Democrats)

5 English Progressive and Liberty Party [The] - Registered to Shaun Nelson - (producer of the English Demcorats Video - "The English Student")

Basically 1-5 have something to do with the English Democrats

================================================== ====
Other English Nationalist Parties
================================================== ====
England First Party - now led by Ex BNP Activist Steve Smith & gang
(activity concentrated in Burnley & Blackburn Lancashire)
White Nationalist - English Nationalist Party

EnglishIndependenceParty.com - led by Chris Nickerson
(Not activice since May 2005)

www.englishindependenceparty.com
================================================== =====

================================================== =====
EPP - Englands Parliament Party - Paul Gilbert (ex UKIP, ex Veritas)
(Not active)
Combined
================================================== =====

The English Democrats have invested cira £ 100,000 in their party in lost deposits, and have delivered close to 16 Million leaflets in the past 5 years.

A NEW "English" Party, will only surpass the English Democrats if they have a big War Chest, and a network of politically able English Nationalist Activists up and down the country. - if that were the case they might as well merge with the English Democrats to form a credible political force.

Statements on Forums and Web Sites, don't create credible political parties, as the catalogue of failed English parties above demonstrates, as does Veritas, the New Party, and the Popular Alliance.

Some people have to learn the hard way !

several weeks i would guess, before all the legalities are complete. In the meantime we have done a fair chunk of the organisational work. there will of course be teething troubles, but we hope we have done enough to limit them.
