"Imagine" - England's security depends more on imagining. If England quits the UK and EU and Scotland stayed in the EU it (Scotland) would become a part of the EU military which (as I have already pointed out in this thread) many in the ruling 'elite' of the EU want to replace the european wing of NATO with.

The future plans of most of the founder member states of the EEC/EU do not include NATO.

I never suggested any of the above would invade England. I wrote that if Scotland and/or Wales quit the UK and stayed in the EU they would become a part of the EU military wing and that this could lead to european continental troops being stationed in a part of the island of Great Britain for the first time in about a thousand years.

My point is that there are security implications and military implications too if the UK partly or wholly dissolved.

I cannot understand why some anti-UK English campaigners get all worked up when I make such a reasonable observation.

The governments of all the nations of the world examine the security implications of what 'the neighbours' do all the time.

There is no "if" about it. The EU military wing is now under construction. This is accepted by military analysts and by the miitary expert and anti-EU campaigner Dr. Richard North as well as by the Sunday Telegraph's Mr. Christopher Booker.

The fact that some people who claim to be pro-England have no idea at all of what the EU is up to is yet more disappointing evidence that some in the pro-England movement may not regard the dangers of the EU threat to our sovereignty as their number one priority.

Default England, UK, Scotland, Wales, legal, military, security implications, anti-UK

There is nothing in the above quote about my valid point that if England quit the UK, Scotland and/or Wales would have the legal right to do as they wished regarding military matters and that they could, if they wanted to, allow troops in from another power. Something which would have security implications for England.

Whatever some anti-UK people who claim to be English have written in this thread - the simple fact is that those individuals cannot deny my point that if England quit the UK it would have no control at all over what the governments of Scotland and Wales did as regards military matters.

Yes - I want all of the UK out of the EU. I thought that was pretty obvious from my postings to this forum.

I am anti-EU. What do think I want - only half of the UK out of the EU?

I want the whole of our nation - the UK - out of the EU.

I want all nations out of the EU. I don't believe in the EU. I don't want the EU to exist.

Default EU military, Irish Republic, England, Ulster, Wales, Scotland, UK

The EU military - if stationed in the Irish Republic - would be less of a threat to England than if it were located on the Welsh side of the land border with England.

The Irish Republic is formally a neutral state and might object to the EU military seeking to have a presence within the Irish Republic.

We cannot stop the Irish Republic from allowing the EU military to set up a base near Ulster/UK if it wanted to - but we can stop the EU military from sending forces to Scotland, Northern Ireland and/or Wales because they are a part of the UK.

That advantage England has, would, of course, be lost if some of those people who claim to be pro-England but anti-UK (and who have been posting to this forum recently) have their way.

    QED.

Now why don't you direct your thoughts, your facetiousness to the people you've chosen to live amongst, rather than to sensible, patriotic English people who still live here in England!

You are an emigre. Another 'Do as I say', rather than a 'Do as I do' merchant! Live with it! Move on! You've chosen your berth ~ now lie in it!

Okay, cassie, I have had about as much of your insulting and demeaning attitude and behaviour as any English person can be expected to tolerate (and they do expect us to be so extremely tolerant, don't they?) But we have our limits and I have finally reached mine with regard to you.

I'm only going to say this to you once more: I am English, I am not an "emigre", I was born out of the country. I am not "facetious". I have not "chosen to live" among any people. If I had any choice I would choose to live among my own English. I have chosen instead, as I cannot get to England and have not been able to get there for many years, to support them and indeed to help them any way I can in honour of my English father and my English grandparents (who were born in Norfolk).

Kindly desist from speaking to me on this forum as though I were some sort of flotsam.

Anyone who supports your attitude also insults me. But then Unionists are so terrified of what they think is the anti-Christ posing as the EU that they would support dung dressed as dinner if it would only join their crusade. Fear of atheists isn't my problem. I am here, as are many other English folk from around the world, because I will stand with them against the regionalisation of my homeland.

Still, I accept and acknowledge the arguments and opinions of others who want a Union. That is their choice. I am not, however willing to continue to be treated like a Charlie by you. Allowing mud to stick to you is not very English.

Andrew, please let me know when you have something going. Until then, farewell and good hunting. Goodbye from this "kid".

I have nothing but admiration for your above words, Silver Falcon . Well done for remaining interested in your English homeland from your overseas location.

And Norfolk is a wonderful county .

And, if that were to happen, it would have security and strategic implications for England.
So you think an EU invasion of England is possible???
