Default London Mayor elections

What nationalist or patriotic parties have got candidates standing in the London Mayor elections, and how many candidates have they got?

How does the voting work for this election, one vote per person?

UKIP
BNP
ED

They are the ones that I have heard that will be standing. ED's seem to have trouble holding onto their candidates and I hear their latest may not last

Well, we heard it from you first.
If you're correct, it will be very amusing.

Default UKIP, English Democrats, candidates, pro-England, anti-EU, parties, vote split

I had hoped that agreement could have been reached between UKIP and the English Democrats for both to back the same candidate for Mayor in the May 2008 London elections.

I had also hoped that the two parties could have agreed to back a joint list of candidates for the proportional vote in the London elections this coming May and for them not to put up opposing candidates in the London Assembly constituencies.

No agreement was reached - or even discussed (officially anyway).

As a result UKIP and the English Democrats - both pro-England and anti-EU parties - might now split each other's vote in those elections.

Correction: UKIP is not a pro-England party, it is a pro-Britain party...

I agree - but by being pro-UK UKIP is also, of course, pro-England especially as the party backs equality for England with Scotland within the UK (i.e. UKIP wants dual-purpose MPs who would sit in both the national Parliament of the UK and in the devolved legislatures).

A66 is an unknown quantity at this point

There are two British patriotic parties standing - UKIP & BNP. The vote splitting, SNP loving, English Democrats are set on preventing either Unionist party from obtaining votes & probable seats. Lets hope they both crush the sinking English Democrats ship once & for all for the good of the nation!

Unbeleivable.

why split the BNP vote???? why are these parties doing this????????

The BNP are the most long standing and most successfull nationalist party, and we all know that if they were the only nationalist party to vote for they would have a great chance of winning the London Mayor election.

I predict the nationalist vote to be split too much, which is sickening,
with the BNP on top of the nationalist vote pile, with a very small proportion of the vote going to UKIP and the EDP.
If the BNP finish otherwise, then it will be down to the ethnic cleansing of the English in London.

Which party out of the 3 patriotic ones would reverse the ethnic cleansing of the English in London pretty quickly?

The EDP feel that any old foriegner can be English and UKIP no doubt feel the same.
The BNP have the balls to stand and fight for the indigenous population and nothing else is included to water this down.

You decide...
