I think its going to be a make or break election for EDP.The wheels are already coming off there london mayor campaign. The chances of them getting any assembly members elected are very remote to say the least

I appealed to English Democrat members on this forum many times to try to come to some sort of co-operation agreement with UKIP regarding the 2008 London Mayoral/Assembly elections to avoid vote-splitting but neither party entered into official talks on this.

For UKIP to hold on to just one of the two seats it won on the London Assembly in 2004 it needs all the votes it can get - English Democrat votes would have been very useful to UKIP.

Yes there is, the England First party.

If they had the same money behind them as the EDP, I beleive that they would be more successfull than the EDP,
infact they already have more Councillors who have WON their positions than the EDP, and they haven't spread nationally yet!
The winning point for the EFP is that they fight for the ethnic English and don't water down Englishness, I wish I could say the same for the EDP, but I can't, and just like the BNP this is winning elections for them.
This is something the EDP constantly over look, which is unbeleivable for a so called nationalist party.

There is also the Independence for England party, I don't know too much about them, haven't looked into them much.
But again with the same money as the EDP, I feel they would also gain probably more success.

No, at this moment in time, I feel I have learned enough about politics to stay away from political parties.

I feel we are splitting the English through politics.

I am more for fighting for the people from the people, for the English from the English.

I know we can't avoid politics, but this doesn't mean we all have to go and join or start political parties.

The English public have the most power in England, not politicians, and we have to get the English public to realise this.
