Despite my differences with Andrew and the EDP, I would say that the EDP's leadership has lost a valuable member.

However, without wishing to seem unduly self-important about such situations, I would offer a different opinion about them.

If one truly believes in the importance (or potential importance) of a particular political party, positions in its leadership must be regarded accordingly. This means that if one feels the need to make a personal statement about such an event, it behoves one to offer an explanation for resigning above and beyond the fact of it. All the more so, if a misleading impression has been left by the personal statement.

Just a word to the wise.

These are my concerns of politics.

English nationalists are spending too much time in politics where frustration and difference of opinion will make them fall apart as a unit.
English nationalists in politics are spending too much time trying to get a party stable and every one in line to one line of policy, whilst their country is going to the dogs.

If we all left politics and just got out there as the English gathering the English and giving them back their confidence, as people from the people for the people,
using the few positives what we have learned through politics as well,
then we may get further with English nationalism than we will politically.

Through my own expereance with politics as an ex Leicester Chairman of the EDP, none of the nationalist parties will get the power we need soon enough, this is due to New Labour coruption which will make sure nationalism doesn't rise through politics,
if they can kill our own soldiers by sending them to war on a lie, then they can fiddle elections locally and nationally with a pinch of salt.
Also we have to realise that people are generally turned off by politics, especialy the English, so we have to start thinking out of the box, and keep politics out of this fight.

Sadly the EDP's policies are just part of the system with this all inclusive view of England.
Why do you think they manage to get media air time and are yet so new and a minute party with no Councilors winning seats?
because it sadly fits in with the current system of all inclusivness etc

I wish I was wrong with all this, but due to personal expereance, I feel that I am very right, and await for all true English nationalists to fight the fight from the people for the people, as its the people who have the most power to make change in this country, not politicians.

This would also route out the career politcians and any wanna be politicians who are in this for the wrong reasons, which I have seen my fair share of.

Whilst in the EDP I was told by some one at the top of the party,
something to the effect of ...
that it was not worth fighting against the EU because we have been signed up to it any way...?

This amung other things, made me highly suspicious of what the EDP are all about.

So left with this and other dissapointing indicents acumulating.

What do you suggest English people who are concerned about the salvation of what's left of the real England and its heritage do about this situation?

Unfortunately most of you seem to have mis-understood the posting which is just to notify you of Andrews resignation from the role of Treasurer and London Chairman.

Andrew is a valued colleague and remains in the party.... our stance on Europe as not changed.

The official press releases will be made soon.

"under a UKIP Government the rival Parliament in Edinburgh would be abolished and its duties given to a new body comprising Scottish constituency MPs which would meet in various parts of Scotland to deliberate on internal Scottish matters. "

I can only imagine that would lead to complete civil un-rest in Scotland. If UKIP honestly expect to be taken seriously on the above then they are lost at sea.
UKIP get virtually no support in Scotland, do you think they'd take you abolishing their parliament lying down? Whatever the rights or wrongs of devolution, it's with us and the Scot's need to decide if they want a parliament, if they want to remain part of the Union and who they want to vote for.
I can only imagine how much fun certain members of the EU would have stoking the fires if the above was tried.

This is a realistic assessment of the situation I'm afraid!

Get off their arses! Fight for change in what ever way they can!
Just to do something, no matter how little they may think it is, But to not just roll over and take it.
