I think that what Arden means, Eurosceptic Atlanticist, is that Warwickshire will be back as a County based on its original pre-1974 boundaries (i.e. the proper boundaries from Warwickshire before the europhile Heath messed them up - the proper boundaries for Warwickshire rightfully include Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull and Coventry).
Presently Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull and Coventry are still (at least as far as the Post Office is concerned) listed as being a part of the Heath-created 'West Midlands' County which no longer has a County Council. |

I agree with you Arden.
The 'game' claims that the City of London and Bristol are both ceremonial counties. Well, quite understandably, most British people do not see them as counties - ceremonial or otherwise. What is needed is a 'game' in which people are asked to remember the proper counties of the UK (i.e. Rutlandshire, Middlesex etc. I expect that more people will do well in and enjoy a quiz of that type than in one in which we are asked to name entities which are counties (ceremonial) on paper only. |

Counties of the UK?
Well I can do England, unsurprisingly; Northern Ireland (well there's only 6 and they've never really changed); but Scotland and Wales I'm totally lost on. |
