I guess this guy has not heard of the abominably named 'Transmanche International Region'!!!!!

Even so, there seems to be the realisation of common ground with England and Wales!

Your immediate reaction is to ask about what Scottish people should call themselves! However, I do not accept that my posting can reasonably be construed the way you have interpreted it.

HighlanderFP comes onto a British forum with a posting replete with:

"Highland Free Press"

"Scotland is under attack from European Union."

Is not England also under attack? Is not Wales also under attack? Of course they are, but just like the recent Steel Report (another example), the focus of Mr Allison is solely on Scotland!

The 'transnational regions' referred to in the link apply to all parts of the UK and to Ireland ~ hence my reference to the 'Transmanche International Region' which covers southern England. It appears that this latter is too far away in distant England for you to have heard of it. By way of contrast, we 'Large Englanders' have heard of the other transnational regions ~ the North Atlantic Region and the North Sea Region as examples.

The so called 'Highland Free Press' can hardly be said to be at concerned with anything that does not affect Scotland or, to put it another, it seems totally unconcerned with how other parts of the UK are affected by the EU only how Scotland is affected. THAT is what I meant.
