Brief extract from the report on the link in the first posting to this thread:

As with too many people in England, she has yet to realise that 'NHS' as used by HM Government invariably means the NHS in England!

Effectively, there are now four NHSs:

NHS England
NHS Northern Ireland
NHS Scotland
NHS Wales.

A major difference is of course the fact that people from the other parts of the UK can interfere with England's NHS, whilst people from England cannot intervene in the other NHSs! Some democracy this is!

On GMTV this morning someone was saying basically that if your not healthy and dont look after yourself you wont get treated.Therefore as a person who leads a fairly unhealthy (and most enjoyable) lifestyle will I be expecting a cheque in the post for all the national insurance I have paid in over the years not to mention the tax I have paid on my fags and booze
