God! You're so unoriginal!

They don't come from Kent, by the way!

Why did you move from the South West to Yorkshire ?

Was it because you had fallen out with everyone in the South West ?

Question: Which part of the EDP's Constitution provides for a 'Vice Chair'.

Answer: None, but £30,000 does!

Cassie

There are far more important things facing our country that your personal fight with KM and the whole of the EDP.

Christine was succesfully voted in to that position last week....in fact all of the NC were voted back in with not one person opposing any of them!

I don't think you realise what you are saying!

This reply does not enhance the reputation of the EDP.

Vice-Chairman

You are right that there is not position in the English Democrats Constitution for the role of Vice Chairman.

The only role to be voted for by the General Membership of the English Demcorats is the role of National Chairman.

Robin Tibrook was re-elected for 2 years on 15 September 2007, as the English Democrats National Chairman (he was unopposed)

The role of Vice-Chairman will no longer be voted for at General Meetings as you are quite right the role does not exist.

The Consitution allows for the follow

1 x National Chairman - Elected by the General Membership

10 x National Council "National Members" - Elected by the General Membership

9 x Area Council Members, Elected by Area Membership for each of the Areas.
(Area Chairman have an automatic place on the National Council)

The National Council then elect the following roles

Treasurer
Secretary

and any other roles the NC think are fit namely

Policy Chairman
Membership Secretary
Web Master
etc

The role of Vice or Deputy Chairman can either be an appointment of the Chairman or a role elected by the NC, this currently has not been decided, but will be at the next NC meeting.

================================================== =====

Currently the following have been elected

1 x National Chairman - Robin Tilbrook

14 x National Council Members - elected by the General Membership.

1 x Area Chairman - South East England

4 x Vacancies

================================================== ======

Cassie/Alan England - there is nothing "underhand" going on in the English Democrats, it is a Democratic party, the only "challenge" to Democracy is apathy.
