Will the National Council produce an annual report prior to next year's jamboree, giving an account of its stewardship of EDP affairs, for adoption by those attending? If so, that'll be a first.

Will the National Council be producing a record of all proceedings at this year's event for issue to members? If so, that'll be a first!

Will the National Council be in a position to report to next year's Conference actual performance of the year's income & expenditure compared with that budgeted? If so, that'll be a first!

Kentishman - do you have an answer yet to the question I asked you in the thread in this section titled "UKIP, English Democrats and Liberals all agree"?

You stated in that thread that the Liberal Party (not to be confused with the Liberal 'Democrats') were now anti-EU. But I checked their website after reading your claim and it says the Liberal Party seeks to reform the EU from within the EU. There is no reference to the Liberal Party being anti-EU on their website.

I have asked you about this in the above-named thread twice but you have not replied to my request to back up your clam with a link.

Could you answer my question please?

The whole conference including Steve Radford's speech and participation in Conference Question Time, has been recorded by 18Doughty Street.

It should be up soon, so you will be able to check out yourself soon.

================================================== ===

Cassie - Alan England (someone you may know) was tasked with a number of things to improve the party.

For some reason he chose not to do this work, instead he insisted in arguing with fellow NC members.

You might like to have a word with Alan England, to find out why he was such a disruptive NC member ?

Default English Democrats Leicester conference, Liberal Party, EU withdrawal, 18 Doughty St.

Kentishman - could you please answer the following:

1.

Didn't anyone at the English Democrat Leicester conference last weekend not make a note of the comments made in the speech by the Liberal Party speaker - particularly when he said his party was anti-EU (as you claim he did)?

2.

Did the speaker from the Liberal Party not have a copy of his speech distributed to assembled delegates before or after he had delivered it?

3.

Why is there no pledge to EU withdrawal on the Liberal Party website if it is now the official policy of that party (as you claim Kentishman)?

4.

At what time precisely during his speech to the English Democrat conference did the Liberal Party speaker call for withdrawal from the EU and on what day (the conference was held over two days for those readers who may not know)? This question (about time/date) is asked to help those who might want to watch the speech on 18 Doughty Street internet television political channel - if a recording of the speech does become available for viewing there (as you suggest it will, Kentishman).

Confirmation of the claim that the Liberal Party (not to be confused with the Liberal Dims) is anti-EU is now required by those anti-EU activists who will want to inform others.

If the comment above ("someone you may know") is directed at me - I do not know anyone called Alan England. Although when I first saw the name mentioned on this forum earlier I thought he has a good family name .

Note the phraseology so beloved of proprietors - "tasked"!!!

Some inconvenient facts for you Steven Uncles:

1. First rule of management: you cannot make someone responsible for something over which they do not have authority!

2. I proposed producing an annual report, for which I would have required help because I did not attend the AGM in 2006, but was opposed by another creditor, Michael Cassidy - a name not unknown here I would imagine. [I am in a position to send copies of the relevant emails.]

3. Preparation of an annual budget as required by Rule 10.8 is clearly the Treasurer's task and would spring naturally from his duty to "present to annual conference" the financial statements specified in Rule 10.7.

Any more obfuscations you wish to dream up?

Here's another inconvenient fact for you. I wrote to Robin Tilbrook on the 6th September and asked him for "2. The Annual Report in which the NC accounts for its stewardship of the EDP during the year ended 31 December 2006 to EDP members at the 2007 AGM"

His written reply was "You also cannot have a written annual report because that is not, as you know, the way that the report is done, which is simply orally at the AGM. The English Democrats is not a bureaucracy and there is no legal or moral requirement for it to become one!". This means that each year a written report is not produced for dissemination to all members, and only those members present at the AGM will hear the annual report. Moreover, there is no record for members, particularly new members to refer to.

Consistent with a number of important deceptions practised by the EDP's principle creditors, you Mr Uncles are attempting to obscure the reality with your accusations and feeble attempts to shift responsibility, and at the same time you are revealing your embarrassment about these deficiencies.

You can operate the EDP as you wish within the law, if that is your only guiding principle, but I do take extreme exception at being misled. Indeed, I believe there is a moral requirement, if not a legal one, for members to be kept properly informed, especially those serving on the NC and, therefore, jointly and severally responsible for a number of decisions.

Well Cassie or should I say Alan England

Maybe your points have been taken on board, as the whole of the Conference was recorded by 18DoughtyStreet - therefore this year there is a record.

I recall that when you were Party Secretary, on the few occassions you bothered to turn up to meetings, the subsequent minutes were published 2 or 3 days before the next meeting, you also failed to compile an adequate list of NC members, and when requested to send stuff out to NC members you often told people to "do it themselves" - is this really the model of a National Party Secretary ?

The thing is, that some people "get stuff done" and some people, just spend time complaining about how others do things.

Which category do you fall into ?

How are you progressing with crossing the road with a blindfold on ?

================================================== =====

Steve Radford - Liberal Party President - made his speech on Sunday 16 September 2007 at about 11am, and also took part in the Question Time debate at about 2.15 pm
