I hope Vernon is a reader even if not a member of this forum, and I am happy to state that he would be very welcome to apply for any new articles about the EU to be in the "The English Voice" and we would happily agree to advertise his publications in it, or on the main English Democrats website.

He should be in the English Democrats really. He only thinks England is worth saving too.

I am not going to fall out with any moderator! I volunteered to moderate on another forum and it was the most unwelcome and unappreciated duty I have ever taken on. Nothing but brick-bats, whether it is because you let items go through on the grounds of free speech, or whether you felt you have to delete some items because they are libellous or too squalid. To pick up on your above comment, I do not have the view that only England is worth saving. I will be spending this Monday in Edinburgh and I am always thrilled to be in such a stunning city. Partly because I do make these monthly visits there, I see more and more evidence that Scotland is slipping away from the Union. I will always have a personal attachment to Wales too, being partly educated (you know what I mean!) there. It was a pleasure to stand in the Welsh Assembly elections this May on behalf of the electors of the former historic English county of Monmouthshire. So I am very interested in what happens in both Scotland and Wales and wish them well whatever they decide will be their future direction. They will always be to me the other historic home nations of the UK. My views on NI are mixed, and have changed since the election of Mr Paisley and his co-habitation with IRA/Sinn Fein. If NI wishes to join the Irish Republic, I am increasingly of the view that this would not be England's loss. AJC

I regard the British flag as an absolute design classic - as do many other people. Rangers suppporters (in Glasgow) are very keen on the Union flag. |
