Yes the comments in The Independent were good.

Ukip claimed there were signs that it was fast becoming the real third party after it knocked the Liberal Democrats into fourth place in the Staffordshire and Wakefield contests. In its first-time fight at Churnet Valley it picked up 15% of the vote, compared with Lib Dems' 9%.

Party leader Nigel Farage said: "Momentum is building and these results clearly show that more people are thinking and voting Ukip. With our first lady mayor in Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, and our success earlier this year in the Barnsley Central by-election - where we beat both the Tories and Lib Dems - the tide is clearly turning."

If you ever have the misfortune to listen to BBC radio 4 which is the extra left wing EU loving, labour voting socialist ideologue, arm of BBC radio (even more than the rest of the BBC) you should here the change in attitude towards Nigel Farage.

I remember years ago when NF first managed to get the odd slot on a panel of a political debate show and every time he made a comment you could here the tumble weed blowing through the silence as Farage dared to make a comment not expectable to forward academic thinking people (the comment normaly being the truth of a matter). He did not go down well. Now you here him on it to vibrant rounds of applause and even cheers from the audience.

I think two things have happened firstly that the public and the media have now woken from the fairy tale that was Nu Labour and the "great all seeing" EU and secondly I think the last Labour government had got quite a tight grip on the media or had a lot of people high up in the media in they're pocket.

Hmm. Yet that's home of 'The Archers' and the channel my mum listens to the most, and she's as true blue as they come! I think 'right-on' BBC3 has a much more worrying dumbed-down left wing profile than Radio 4.

No JABIRD Radio Four is definitiely the worst. It uses every possible opportuinty to brainwash, even The Archers is totally PC propaganda these days with a saintly Polish care worker who has done wonders for Alzheimers afflicted Jack Wooley, the ridiculous marriage of practising Hindu solictor Usha to ultra PC vicar Alan (his second marriage to a woman of colour - he obviously has a fetish) and in order to create another acting opportunity for an ethnic minority (thus denying one to a Brit) they have created an unlikley romance between goody two shoes Harry and a 'cultured' Polish strawberry picker. I just wonder when a 'model' Musssslim family is going to move in.

And its not just TA. the Afternoon plays feature regular propaganda about asylum seekers, or carp plays written by ethnic minorites which would have been straight in the bin were their writers ethnic British (sometimes unintelligible due to Caribbean dialect) constant harping on about Asians and Mussslims by smug Womans hour presenter Jenny Murray and the virtual replacement of all producers with foriegners and ethnci minorities, plus the almosst guaranteed choice of a foriegner whenever an 'expert' is called for on any scientific matter. Another propaganda trick is to never use interpretors, howver bad the English of the person being intervuiewed. Some have suggetsed this is money saving only, but I believe it is part of acclimatising us to English badly spoken by foriegners so that we grow accustomed to it and the former expectations for 'Queens English' (or near to) for professional jobs is dropped. This is backed up by the choice of Neil Nunes as continuity man with his horrible strangulated Caribbean/Mid atlantic accent which stands out like a sore thumb!

I am surprised your mother hasnt noticed - howw depressing if they are getting away with it.

The only time I ever listen to it is around my mums and she's so left wing we only get the left half of the the turkey at Christmas dinner. In all honesty I don't think I've ever listened to Radio 3 if it's worse than 4 then it must be run by Karl Marx himself.

Used to listen to the afternoon play all the time and stopped for just that reason. BBC presenters should be speaking clear understandable English if you have to strain to understand what is being said as I do when Neil Nunes speaks then that is unaceptable.
