The UKIP vote went down from 6.8% to 5.4%.

Their vote also went down in Tonbridge, Kent last night from 12% to 6%.

Everybody's vote went down last night. The percentages don't really matter when there is such a low turnout since nobody seems able to get their electors out for council by elections.

My vote last night was down on 2010, but with the BNP standing for the first time, I think it held up quite well. To beat the BNP in a strong Labour area such as Wythenshawe is a great sign.

I know Bernard Todd, your BNP opponent-perhaps you could confirm that he is a true gent and not a yobbo as Nuttall would have us believe?

I couldn't say. He didn't attend the count. He only stayed at the GE count for a short time also.
I don't recall Paul Nuttall saying anything about Mr Todd?

I would be pleased if UKIP breach the 10% mark, they have been at 5% nationally in various polls this month and after the Oldham by election they have clearly stated their position as 4th largest party in the UK, could possibly even see 3rd if the LibDems drop another 2-3%!WOW Items Gold
