They vote LibDem because unlike the other parties - they put out regular newsletters - keep their eyes on local issues and are always the first to launch local campaigns to get things done.

If they get a pot hole filled or a street signed repaired or graffiti removed then they produce a newsletter about it.

You gain votes at a local level on being strong local campaigners - not by wanting to get the UK out of the EU.

The BNP are seen as a party of protest to send a message to the establishment.

UKIP are seen as...?

The Lib Dems over do it in my area. People are getting sick of the mountain of junk mail, telling us all the same things, with pictures of some grinning moron posing with the police, or outside a school.

The Tories have been very quite again, but their one leaflet at least tried to sound different.

Labour have now died in my ward (rejoice), so we shall see where their votes go. Duncan Clarke is running for UKIP and I shall be voting for him, even though he hasn't put a leaflet through my door.

My father in law who is 83 and a Labour voter for 64 years has told the wife he will never vote Labour again,ma in law said the same as well.

I was flabbergasted when she told me.

What I live about the Lib Dems is that I only here from them at election time with leaflets stating that they keep ALL local residents informed of their activiites all year round!!

Total nonsense!!

Indeed the Lib Dems are very organised in my area, we regularly get stuff from them through the door - although it does go straight into the recycling box.

If the Tories were half as organised they might actually win a seat in Cornwall.

I've not found that! What I've found is people vote Lib Dem because they're sick of the other two! They appear to have no idea what the Lib Dems stand for!
