Labour hold. Ward still has 2 Tory, 1 Labour - same as before the by election.

    Labour 1436
    Tory 1071
    Lib Dem 87
    UKIP 83
    Green 64
    BNP 34

UKIP, Green and BNP did not contest the ward in 2010.

    2010 results - 3 seats

    Tory 2806
    Tory 2706
    Labour 2663
    Labour 2602
    Tory 2497
Labour 2432 (candidate this time around)
    Lib Dem 979
    Lib Dem 840
    Lib Dem 786

The decline in the Lib Dem percentage share, on a lower turnout, is massive. Would someone else like to do the sums?

The Lib-Dem vote went from about 16% last time to 3% on Thursday.

If that were to be reflected nationwide at the GE the Lib Dems would probably be down to 2 MPs.

Yes they would, and this is a decline that is being ignored by some posters

Which posters do you mean? I'm not aware of any LIB-DEM posters or supporters on this site.
