The BBC website says that tonight is a Crewe By-Election special and that there will be a live debate hosted by Paxman and among local people. I severely doubt Mike will be featured in this (though he should be), so I expect he'll just get a brief, token appearance outlining the main issues UKIP are standing on (as will some of the other candidates despite representing much smaller Parties I suspect).

Still, always good to be optimistic. Have to wait and see how much time Mike gets.

Yes I did get the email. I was questioning how limited Mike's appearance will be.

Thinking more, seeing as the BBC, on their site, have outlined immigration as one of the big issues, Mike really should be given a fair crack of the whip given that he's going to be the only one to have anything near a sensible policy (in the eyes of the common man and woman).

Nattrass was pretty unimpressive but I thought that Paxman`s attitude towards him was disgracefully arrogant .
Roll on the revolution -it`s clear however that UKIP ain`t going to be leading it.

Petrina: Minor planet circulating the Sun. Perhaps that's why the posts are so anti UKIP and negative. Perhaps we should say to those who don't like UKIP don't post on UKIP threads. That is what I was told on a Cameron blog site. But no UKIP believe in Freedom of Speech. I know a novel concept in politics but there you go.

Nattrass did well. Got two chances to say a few words, and surprisingly for the BBC, his name and party name was flashed up on the screen when he spoke.

The blatant contempt of Paxman for UKIP was ridiculous and should lead to a high level complaint from UKIP. Mind you Paxman's manner is ridiculous whoever he speaks to on whatever side of whatever argument.
