I don't understand why people take delight in the EDP doing so badly, when the old bunch are doing so well.

I would much rather any of the others beat the Troika.

Well I was pretty accurate in my prediction for UKIP's vote wasn't I?

Great Britain's "Fourth Party" scored 2.2%.

Give it up, UKIP.
You're not the Future.

The EDP scored 0.67%.

Well, I am sure we would all wish to see the Lib/Lab/CON party hammered but as a patriotic Briton I take exception to the EDs broadcasting nothing more than a puerile anti-Scottish rant for their London mayoral election broadcast. Surely they can make their points about devolution in a more adult manner?

It is. In Sedgefield, the loonies beat them!

The principle reason the BNP did not fight this by election was because it was within forty miles of the home address of the dear leader. Obviously he would then have been expected to take part. This was not a option.

Secondary reasons were that Griffin is now completely focused on riding what remains of the BNP's support into Brussels, whatever remains of the Party after than is of no concern to him. Indeed I fully expect him to either step down as chairman and pass the crown on to Collett, who will be the senior member remaining after Darby and Griffin climb onto the Euro gravy train. or I would not rule out him resigning the BNP whip in order to collect a massive payday rather than hand over the winnings to the Party as advertised.

Also the last thing Griffin needs was a jamboree of BNP activists discussing views on his leadership while on the campaign trail. All sorts of phone numbers and views could have been swapped.

Crewe would not have advanced Griffin's agenda and that is why the BNP did not fight. Although it is difficult to imagine a more promising election for them. Slap bang in the middle of its activist base with a corroded Labour vote and a massive influx of Eastern European labour.

Why else would the BNP fight Sedgefield last year and not Crewe this. What better chance to cement the "tremendous victory" in the GLA's. Griffin has given up on any first past the post election and is now trying to extract a retirement fund out of PR.

Default Evidence?

Please supply proper evidence and stop making wild assertions without evidence and examples. You are losing credibility.

"It is vital that readers understand what is happening in such areas as Epping Forest, Sandwell and Burnley, the establishment is adopting a strategy of containing and crushing these beachheads by the use of overwhelming force."

"Moreover there are serious and credible concerns that the leadership clique, of which Richard is not a member, will not support him as he will need to be supported. It is in their interests that he fails rather than become a viable alternative to their misrule. The history of the BNP makes this something approaching a certainty..."

Neither are you if you - you won't get anywhere by refusing to contest elections.

The reason it wasnt contested for the hundreth time is that the party thought it was too close to the elections and given on too short a notice to be able to pump resources into it and make good use of them. It would of been difficult for activists to book time off work to assist the campaign. We all knew sedgefield would happen months in advance so the party was ready, also this year we have had to follow up thousands of enquiries to turn them into members.

As for Griffin, he is an activist and gets on the streets like anyone else unlike certain people who the anti-griffin perade put on a pedestal and say the sun shines out of their arses. Does farage get out and deliver leafletts?

If you think that Collett would be handed power just like that you are very sad indeed, there would be a leadership election and that I am sure of.
