The Daily Mail has learned that he [Cameron] has ordered every Whitehall department to draw up a list of powers to be grabbed back from Brussels.
EU and Britain: Majority of British public want powers back from Brussels | Mail Online

I know some people on here might laugh at what I say, but it is what is happening, whether you like to believe it or not.

Cameron cannot go against 90% of his party. It's just impossible, to put it bluntly. We have the mother of all parliaments, and our parliamentary system was well designed. If you are like Farage and argue that it is not, and so one must use referenda, then you damage your own argument over the EU having political power. It is now quite clear that the agenda has changed from no more power handed over to one of getting power back. This is a very welcome development because either we get power back from the EU because the EU is nice and cares for our parliamentary democracy, or what is far more likely is that Cameron will come back empty handed. I think every Tory that supported the repatriation of powers position is going to switch to wanting to leave if this happens. It puts the ball on the EU's side, so we don't really control that. They might just give a little bit of power back so we don't leave, but look at the history of the EU and see when it last made a sensible decision. It is far more likely to say no, and as it does, so this will precipitate opposition to it like we have not witnessed in this country before. At this juncture Cameron will have to get us out, or be kicked out and make way for someone else to get us out. A referendum is really just an unnecessary distraction. Our parliamentary system is already equipped with the ability to carry out the will of the people. It has worked for hundreds of years.

Maybe they will sodomize him with a sharp object, much like his beloved Islamists did to Gaddafi?

They are British though and so they have made it a bit further up the evolutionary ladder. You should be happy to live in a country that has done so.

Done so what? Not reacted in such a savage and inhumane manner? Maybe that is part of the problem, in that all state dictators over here get away with everything, because they know we are way too tolerant and humane within our lil realm.

It is good yeah, but is too often exploited.

Look the reality is that in Libya they have been running around in the bush for most of their history. We were establishing the rule of law, such as property rights and that sort of thing, over 1000 years ago. We certainly do not want to reverse the evolutionary process in Britain and climb back up into those trees. Indeed this is why multiculturalism is such a bad thing. We have the most sophisticated culture on the planet. When we infuse it with primitive culture, like rap music (sic) we degrade it. So the solution is to be less like them, not more so.

But this, I fear, is waste of energy. If the BNP are the answer, it must be a ****-awful question. What solutions do they have that aren't based on ignorance and hatred? What electoral credibility do they have?

Didn't Cameron once say that he believed we should be more like them?
