I have no record of Conservative MP and London 2008 Mayoral Election candidate Boris Johnson criticising UKIP.

Livingstone hates UKIP and insulted the party the moment he learnt that UKIP had won 12 seats in the last EU Election. Boris Johnson did not.

Livingstone is pro-euro - Boris Johnson is against it.

Livingstone backs the EU Constitution/Lisbon 'Treaty' - Boris Johnson MP is opposed to it.

All the UKIP people I know here in the capital said that they gave their second preference vote to Boris Johnson MP in yesterday's London Mayoral Election and hopefully in just over two hours UKIP-hating europhile Livingstone will be thrown out of City Hall .

I notice that most of the people who claim to be against the EU and who say, at the same time, that they did not want people to vote for Boris Johnson just happen to live outside the capital and therefore do not pay towards the cost of the Livingstone Mayoralty; nor towards the costs of running City Hall and the London Assembly.

Perhaps such people would prefer it if Livingstone - one of the most pro-EU people in British politics - kept the job of London Mayor. I am sure that europhiles would not be so generous in supporting an anti-EU Mayor of London remaining in office.

It does our anti-EU cause no good at all having europhile UKIP-hating Livingstone hold the biggest directly-elected political post in europe (after the French Presidency) and hopefully by 10 pm tonight (when the official declaration of the result of yesterday's Mayoral election is due) Livingstone will become the very first EX-MAYOR of London .

It is one title that the UKIP-hating europhile Livingstone richly deserves .

She's OK, whatever she may have done in the past.

I'd be amazed if she gave the Scurf King the time of day.

I agree - if it the case that Livingstone is out (and the official result declaration of yesterday's London Mayoral election is due in 1 hour and 45 minutes) then it is the best political news for the capital for some years.

UKIP-hating Livingstone is one of the most pro-euro people in British politics. He has said openly he wants the EU Superstate and he even once stated that London clocks should be on european continental time even if the rest of the UK was not.

All the UKIP people I know here in London gave their second preference vote yesterday to Livingstone's opponent (in the London Mayoral Election) Boris Johnson MP. And they were right to do so.

I do not agree with her alleged support for fox-hunting - but on the other matters (supporting national sovereignty; opposing the threat of the euro and Ulster's rightful place in the British family) she is absolutely right of course.

What a pity that there are not more Labour MPs with views like hers on those most important subjects of fighting the EU threat and defending Northern Ireland's place as a part of the UK.

This is not about excitement Matthew.

It appears that you may not have wanted UKIP members/supporters to use their second preference vote for Boris Johnson MP (in yesterday's London Mayoral Election) and the result of that is that the chances of UKIP-hating europhile Livingstone holding onto the biggest directly-elected office in europe (after the French Presidency) would have been increased.

Fortunately all the UKIP people I know here in London gave their second preference vote to Boris Johnson MP yesterday and all the forecasts are that UKIP-hating europhile Livingtone will become the very first EX-MAYOR of London in 1 hour and 26 minutes from now .

If this is the case - it will be a night of great celebration here in this great capital city .

Except for the europhiles.

As I implied earlier: if we had an anti-EU Mayor of London all the europhiles would have turned out to vote yesterday to try to get him out - whatever the political party they support.

I prefer anti-EU people to vote for anti-EU parites. Not perpetuate the sham we have for even longer.

UKIP people in London did vote for an anti-EU party yesterday: UKIP.

However, all voters in London had a second preference vote in the Mayoral Election yesterday which they could not use for UKIP (i.e. they voted UKIP on the first preference but could not vote use their second preference for UKIP).

Consequently UKIP people faced the choice of:

1. Not using their second preference vote at all thus increasing the chance of UKIP-hating europhile Livingstone remaining Mayor of London.

or -

2. Using their second preference vote for Boris Johnson MP thus reducing the chance of pro-EU, pro-euro and pro-EU Superstate Livingstone remaining holder of the biggest directly-elected post in europe (after the French Presidency).

All the UKIP people I know did the right thing and gave their second preference vote to Boris Johnson MP in yesterday's Mayoral Election here in London.

"I've kept a bottle of Champagne ready for the moment Livingstone is kicked out as Mayor of London - I am hoping to open it tonight" - an e-mail from a lady listener of London's Independent news radio station LBC FM (just read out on air).

Boris wins.

The EU wins by proxy.

Well done.
