Well Steve you are absolutely right, although many people might scorn what you say.

'Look at C A Moron's "success!"' they cry. But none of these people have the same experience of the Tory Party that I can claim (Considerably longer than the Skidmark, I might add).

After a minor boost following the change of leadership party membership has returned to its previous exponential decline. I know this from my party insider contacts. It's something the Tories like to keep quiet about, naturally.

The average age of the Tory membership is close to 70 and 'time like an ever-rolling stream' is carrying them away. Unlike the Labour Party they cannot count on the TUC to provide membership and in due time the party will be reduced to a hard-core of councillors and anorak-politicos

THe first great milestone will come when Tory membership dips below that of the LibDems.

Back to the thread..................

Cameron and Clegg are both young bulls, each trying to capture the 'yoof' vote. So they cannot agree? Oh dear, how sad.
Not.

Cameron would need to agree to left of centre economic policies while Clegg would have to agree to a reduction in public spending.
It ain't gonna happen.

Am I bovvered?

I've got a feeling that when their in and don't have to pretend to be blue labour you'll probably find thats the case.

I like Cameron for some reason the fact he smoked a joint just makes him a real person who's done stupid things. I just worry he might be more tory than we can handle. Don't know if you remember the New Statesman with rick mail but he reminds me of Alan Ba'stard.
