Default Cameron will lose votes to Clegg's Liberal 'Democrats' says radio presenter

Talksport radio presenter, Ian Collins, said this morning (on his Talksport radio programme) at 1.08 am "The Conservatives have been getting quite excited by their opinion poll lead - but they are not far enough ahead (in the opinion polls) to be sure of victory at the next General Election. The Conservatives - to be sure of winning next time - should have a lead of 20% or more in the opinion polls now. The Conservative share of the vote in the opinion polls will now be diluted by Clegg (the new leader of the Liberal 'Democrats)."

The above view is shared by many political analysts who have been saying in media interviews that the general expectation is that Clegg will take some votes from the Cameron-Conservatives.

However, the europhile Liberal Dims are also likely to lose votes to Labour as anti-Iraq 'war' protest voters who switched to the Liberal Dims at the last General Election return to the Labour 'fold'.

I disagree. They will see similarities, and chose the one most likely to win. I can see Clegg actually helping Cameron.

The Conservative Party will win the next GE! I would like to be so sure of winning the Lottery! The Labour party are due for a long period in the wilderness! I just hope UKIP can win some seats and for them to replace the Lib Dems as the third party would be a dream come true! Unfortunately there is still a large number of people who haven't realised how bad the Lib Dems are, plus the fact they'll probably get the growing Immigrant vote!

I think people have only been saying they would vote for Cameron because of the way Brown has been screwing up. Actually most of them realise that Camoron is a slick of slime and nobody really wants to vote for him either.

Clegg is good news. I think he will rob votes from Camoron and ensure that the Tory Traitors are deprived of their hoped-for victory.

Remember how Major wrecked this country. Never again!

I could care less how many points Camerons Tories are in front at the moment.

The CONservatives are finished and UKIP NEED TO GET READY TO UP THEIR GAME AFTER THIS HOLIDAY,or..................

Correct. The fact that the number of UKIP supporters who have defected to the Tories could be counted on the fingers of one hand says it all.

Unlike UKIP the Tory Party is now a PC tyranny where anybody exercising their right to free speech is victimised.

The latest opinion polls show the Liberal Dims (and not the Cameron-Conservatives) taking votes from Labour. While this might help Conservative candidates in seats where Labour and the Conservatives are first or second - it will not help Conservatives in seats where the Liberal Dims and Conservatives are first or second.
