Pro-EU former Conservative Foreign Secretary Malcolm Rifkind MP (who will be fighting the marginal Kensington North constituency at the next General Election following recent boundary changes in the Kensington-Chelsea seat he was elected to represent last time) has said that eurosceptic Lady Thatcher’s decision to visit Prime Minister Gordon Brown at 10 Downing Street last week was “brazen.”
What I think was brazen was the way europhile impostors in the Conservative Party helped bring down Lady Thatcher as Prime Minister against the wishes of most Conservative Party members and supporters. Readers of the Daily Mail website have already been commenting about Sir Malcolm Rifkind’s criticism of Lady Thatcher: Adam in Leeds wrote on the Daily Mail website on 16.9.2007 “Cameron isn't even fit to empty Baroness Thatcher's dustbins.” John of Sevenoaks wrote on the Daily Mail website on 16.9.2007 “Maggie is one of our greatest ever Prime Ministers, and the current bunch of Tories are a shambles. Are they really surprised that she would do this? After all, they bullied her out of office, and her long term memory is sound.” Greynolds of London wrote on the Daily Mail website on 16.9.2007 “Malcolm Rifkind's disgraceful comment on Margaret Thatcher shows how unfit the people leading the Tory Party are. David Cameron as well as you Malcolm are the reasons why conservative voters are not going to vote Tories. We will not vote Labour either but you can be sure that for as long as David Cameron is the leader, Tory will not win the coming election as we conservative voters will cast our vote elsewhere.” There’s more at: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...#StartComments |

Lady Thatcher said in her memoirs that Rifkind bluntly told her she could not win when she asked for his continued support, the only assurance he gave her was that he would never actively campain against her.
As for the term brazen, the word I would use to describe Lady Thatcher is direct, even Tony Benn one of her fiercest critics said you knew where you stood with her and nothing was done by deception.

Dump is appropriate as they can best be described as "sh*ts" and should have been flushed away
