Cameron has arranged to work with Merkel's party on policy groups. Is this the first definite sign the Tories aren't coming out of the EPP?

Pro-EU and anti-UKIP Cameron claims that the UK Conservative group will leave the pro-euro EPP group in Brussels at the 2009 EU Elections and form a new eurosceptic group of MEPs to include eurosceptics from other countries.
I think that if the new eurosceptic group is not formed and operating fully before the next EU Election - there will be some UK Conservative voters who have never supported UKIP before but who will vote UKIP in protest at the EPP at the next EU Election. |
