Edwina Currie :evil: , the extreme europhile was booted out on a huge swing against her as a ‘Conservative’ MP by the voters of South Derbyshire at the 1997 General Election, said on Sky Television News at 12.40 pm on 1.10.2006 (grinning widely and with great enthusiasm) "Cameron is a seriously good thing."

Britannist's comment on the remark of Edwina Currie: Well, he’s got the blessing of the political reject and committed europhile Currie. Who could ask for more? :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

At least John McCririck appears to be 'on our side' more-or-less on the issue of the euro. If there were a referendum tomorrow Currie would be out there campaigning for us to go in - mind you, that might actually help make more electors vote against the euro if they discovered she was in favour of it.

Sometimes it is almost better that certain people are not on your side.

I think the EUphiles would say the same about Edwina.
