I am not sure if this comment was supposed to be flippant or serious. If the former, then it is extremely bad taste and I believe completely inappropriate, and extremely disrespectful to those who are damaged as a result of other people's smoking. If in any way the latter, then it is very worrying that one who claims himself to be a libertarian feels this way about people just because they express a point of view that is different from his own. It seems that everyone is entitled to liberty, provided that they agree with Matt.

I'm sure many people on this forum know of people who have died of causes completely unrelated to smoking too. For example, 6 million Jews killed by an anti-smoking campaigner.

I am very happy to also report any grossly offensive posts about those who died in the Holocaust.

I have to admit I did it on purpose and didn't even really mean it.

HOWEVER, while I AM sorry to offend only minor fascists like Tom (yes I beleive in the scheme of things, Tom is nearer the light side than the dark), we need to nail this issue to the mast, as it is such a clear cut case.

Thus I am glad I did it and I hope it at least makes some people think about what freedom really is. That includes free speech that offends too.
