English language is no less important a component of English culture than (say) Welsh or Scotch - witness their desperate efforts to keep their largely irrelevant lingos extant. Indeed, by reason of its lingua franca role alone English must be regarded as more important than those 'minority' languages. Unfortunately, we have to endure individuals like you Danny who mangle the language and misuse it, yet take licence to criticise anyone or any party which seeks to promote England and Englishness.

You are too biassed and uncomprehending to realise that I have reached into the core of this thread! Quite simply, you are so entrenched in your narrow opinion of the EDP that it is inconceivable for you to record anything remotely positive about that party.
