Retaliation against a personal attack and indeed slander, in saying I am the kind of person who punches people and throws litter.

I think Aardvark is overly biased and on this issue made some poor/pathetic decisions. Sorry if that opinion upsets anyone, it is just my opinion.

Overall, I actually think you are quite a good moderator Alex. A bit brutal with the instant bans for a month, but then that's your call and backed by the owner of this forum, so I can't really complain.

I always thought mpkdavies was a moderator on this forum a long time ago.

He has been banned twice at least under that forum name and may have been banned under others he may have used.

I hardly think his opinion of the moderating capabilities of the other moderators really carries any conviction.

I remember the good old days when you were a mod. No over reaction, fair decisions, proper warnings, no banning of people who were arguing with or disagreeing with you. I look to your moderate and scrupulously fair moderation as an example to us all.

I was very unfair on BNP people. They were brutally harvested without mercy sometimes. I regret that.

I favoured some people and gave them more chances than they deserved. Poor.

I realised I wasn't doing a very good job in the end, which is why I stepped down.
