That's hardly correct, and certainly not true in the context of European tradition (The Americans may see things differently)

The terms 'left' and 'right' originated in the seating plan of the French Assemblee Nationale. Democrats, liberals and revolutionaries sat on the left while 'ultras' and more moderate defenders of traditional privileges sat to the right of the president.

Any 'libertarians' - and I suppose one might American-inspired men such as Lafayette in that camp - would surely have sat on the left.

Come on Alex, you're being unfair, I've been posting on this forum for many years, not once have I put forward any points which have been shown to be incorrect, the only disagreement I've had on here is my party of choice, chosen after I was told that any ban on immigration was racist (how things change?) and that I wouldn't be welcome in UKIP.

I've also never seen any banned poster re-register to cause further problems.

I've never been banned or ticked off. I've always been polite and courteous, respectful of other peoples views and I don't appreciate being tarred with this brush. A lot of the bannings may well have been deserved but IMO these people were fishing and you lot took the bait. Sometimes it does get a little too serious at times on here, can't you just take us at face value, we are just normal people.

A lot of BNP supporters will agree with a lot of things on this forum and its inevitable that they will join and BNP related posts will occur, there are common goals and I can see because of your stereotypical view of a BNP supporter why you are uncomfortable about this but this forum is supporting the sort of patriotic British democracy that BNP supporters will identify with and its naive to think otherwise.

I know in my own heart that I do not hate people because of who they are or where the originate from, I've made very heartfelt posts on here describing my views and demonstrating that I am not racist or a nazi nor do I support such viewpoints.

No problem. We welcome anyone who will contribute within the rules. The fact is, however, that there have been people who have posted as BNP supporters who break the rules. Then they re-register and do it all again.

Nowhere here have I said that supporters of the BNP are trouble. However some BNP supporters are trouble. Some. Not all.

No problem. As I said, I had no idea you were BNP. As I said above, you're not part of the problem.

This will help to underline the fact that many rank and file BNP members are ordinary concerned citizens. So are a good number of the management who are getting fed up. There are lone wolves and firestarters, yes, in every party and on every forum. The only solution is to snuff out obvious trolls.

What has upset some BNP supporters and members is this constant accusation of being evil terminators just because they are patriots. Quite a lot of BNP members, let alone supporters, are libertarians, pagans, Taoists, secular, atheist and downright hippie in their views. What they share is a love of Britain and the aspiration to do something instead of nothing. Many were once UKIP, some left and became UKIP, and many are now looking elsewhere.

I found what I have been looking for all my life - an English party that represents Independence for my homeland and its people. (I nearly joined UKIP once.) So I have "come home" in support for the FEP and so will a growing number of English, in exactly the same way as the Irish, Welsh and Scots are doing. We're not fascists, nazis or racist. We are descendants of the people who built our various nations and made them great. And some who are not English may even feel they want to join because they have lived there and were born there and would like to support an English homeland government. Many Scots and Welsh today have no beef with the English and vice versa.

There will always be those who desire "inclusion" on a scale that is damaging to the parent body of any organisation. As long as they are not the democratic majority, the body is safe and they can continue their belief system as an opposition group whose criticism helps keep true fascism at bay.

Right now, for me and people like me, there is only party that we will support and sponsor and that is The Free England Party. For others it remains the BNP, for others UKIP or the Tories or Lib Dems, Labour or Monster raving Loonies. As long as these entities exist and there is free choice to belong or to change your allegiance specifics then there is hope. After the EU, who knows? It will be too late by then.

As interesting as all this is, it's totally bizarre. No one has accused all members of the BNP of being trouble. We are going round in circles here and I suspect it serves someone's agenda to do so. Not mine. I am off to get some work done and then get on with some moderating here.
