Frith, you probably dislike me intensely for criticizing you, but don't make the same mistake I did and expect some form of justice on this forum - it's only a fictional notion of justice really isn't it ?

Better to use the forum as a learning, educational and entertainment tool.....

Bear in mind the internet as we know it won't be around forever....
So best to enjoy it for the next few years while you still can....

Yes, thanks YCHTT, that's what I'm doing - cramming for the finals. And when they cart me off manacled and cursing I think I'll sing "Child in Time". It should sound good echoing down the corridors of the new world order's prison planet.

Or I could just learn Chinese.

I stopped watching the BBC a while ago. Don't listen to anyone until I've made up my own mind. Never been a flunky of anything or anyone. I'm the sort of human mass consumer based societies would like to strangle because I prefer lots of small businesses in any economy. I used to own one. It was crushed. My partner used to own one. It was crushed.

Very sorry to hear that - was it purposefully crushed or did it fail becasue it just couldn't compete ?

I totally agree with you - the need for small businesses is important - people should be prepared to pay a little bit extra if it ensures healthy competition, e.g. before they shop at Tesco to save a few pence.

Well at least we still live in a free open market society.
