FREE THE FORUM TWO
I think this gives the Forum a good reputation, in that only two people have been banned. Lets face it, they did go on a bit. Personal insults are what the PM system is for, not the 'puplic' areas.

Don't get me wrong here, I've had a run-in or two with MKPD, and don't agree with a lot of what he say's, but I've also agreed with a lot of what he has said, that's part of debate. Personal slanging matches are a totally different issue.

I think the Moderators should be given respect and recognition for the patience they've shown on here, and their decision accepted, like it or not. Nobody should be above the 'law' irrespective of how good their posts have been.

My opinion only! I think on reading many of their posts that Matt and Clippo are possibly the type of characters who will say "stuff the forum" and not return!

Problem arises when one poster doesn't like what another says (Mikeuk is a bit abusive when I suggest house prices may crash). Doesn't bother me at all but I intend to give him a good dose back when I'm proven correct and he is proved wrong.

This is why they should be reinstated forth with. I dont agree with what either of them say most of the time but they are people with blood in their viens and would rather lose an argument to there ilk than debate with some moron that quotes from the papers

I have temporarily lifted my boycott of this government and secret society-infiltrated forum in order to call for the reinstatement of Matt Davies, one of the good and honest patriots here.

Matt dished out the bans when he ruled the roost as a moderator.
He even suggested to Tom Wilde I should be banned at one point in 2006.
Heaven Forbid that I bear a grudge!

He should take his own lenient one month ban like a man.

I was busy trying to avoid banning either of them, but Alex got fed up. As with many people of longstanding membership I have actually met Matt and communicated off forum with Clippo and wouldn't have wanted to ban either. Alex knows Matt as well. The thing is you can't have favourites.

I hope they both return.
