Don't think there's any value in going through legal channels, as far as challenging the EU or it's support systems - that's an expensive dead end. None of the several legal challenges, to my knowledge, have succeeded - why? - think about it.

Besides I would never put my money into the hands of grossly overpaid lawyers, willingly. When I was up against barristers (once three at a time) on public enquiries 10 years or so ago, I found them bumptious, but useless, in the subject under consideration, at least. They lost all the three or four cases when they faced me. The government inspector accepting my well researched and argued case each time - if you don't believe me give me a mailing address and you can have copy of inspector's reports.

By the way your estimate was way under by a factor of 2 and one 1/2. The point, as a result, is now well established - Britain's membership of the EU lacks legitimacy. This fact will feature increasingly in the time ahead.

Anyway, this was a joint effort, financially supported by those who saw merit in the initiative - don't knock us all.

What do you have to your credit, Chikrodah, in this fight?

If you knew aardvark, you might actually agree with twizzel.
I have been a member of this forum since early 2005 and yes, in that time I have racked up nearly 6000 posts. That does not preclude me from a life, thanks for your concern.

I was given moderator status in 2006 because a large number of people trust me to make a sensible decision.

Finally, this is a forum where we allow almost all types of discussion but it is the right of the forum owner to control discussion. Anthony owns the forum and he was one of those who selected me to be a moderator. Aardvark is also a moderator.

If you don't like it here, don't come here.

Twizzel, It's a warning on your profile. No need to worry. Please simply refrain from insulting people in future. Thanks for your co-operation and thank you for not overreacting.

Alex

Thanks Alex McKee. There is no reason to distrust you as a moderator, but Aardvark comes as a pair.
