The thing that's peed me off recently is the 100 a day 'mail not delivered' emails I've been getting as some bunch of arseh*les has been using my main email address to spam for drug selling.

I had that a few weeks ago, only it was more like ten thousand a day. I had to disable the email account until it stopped.

I have to ride it out for now. If it was any of my other accounts I would shut it down, but this one I can't.

Sorry guys, but in my experience once your account has been spammed it never goes away.

"ten thousand a day" or 1/2 a minute is typical. Disabling the account works for short periods then comes back again.

New account is the easiest solution; as mine was freeserve/wanadoo/orange, the change was refreshing.

That would be easy enough if only attached to an ISP, but when it is your major domain name and has been used for years on all letterheads, leaflets etc it isn't so practical.
I'm down now to about 5 a day, from a hundred or so three weeks ago.
