Hey, try scuba diving, settle on the bed of the North Sea at about 35m, turn your air off and then remove your mask and regulator - enjoy the drifting euphoria as you drown in peace.

At least that's what I am told it feels like!
I've been close to running out of air on a couple of occasions, but something always made me want to come back to the surface.
Probably the fact that you can't annoy the hell out of people when you are dead! 8)
