Unlike myself, (who as many of you will probably agree, gives robust, no-nonsense replies to many crackpot posts), I consider Besoeker's posts to be models of non-personal abuse and rationality.

Publish here now the detailed reasons for his warning, & by whom so that we can all see if this is 'fair'.

Otherwise, Britsh Independence & Democracy Forum be damned !

In all the forums I've ever visited, never has a mod ever had to explain their decision, and for good reason. I see no reason why this forum should descend into mob rule, so I suggest you apply to the admin for an 'appeal', and let them decide of the mods decision was justified.

If indeed as Besoeker said his ‘crime’ was to post a single smiley, (and on previous exchanges with him I’ve never considered him to have told an untruth), then I’m sure I can find an example, possibly many more, where the (presumed) Mod to whom Besoeker posted the said smiley has done the very same.

This incident has a very, very bad smell to it. For the reputation of fairness in this forum this incident needs to be opened up – after all, the word Democracy does appear in the forum title so live up to it.
