Default Change for change sake.

Sorry Anthony you have taken a perfectly good easy to use forum and ****** it up.
Why would I want to see my own avatar and my name in a huge box, why do I want to see a poll why can i not see the latest poster in individual subjects?.
Why do we need blogs when the people that want them already have them?.
Why has the subject title text been reduced so only the visually perfect will be happy with it?
And now for the good things, downloads might be good as images galleries might be.

It is just a welcome message that replaces the log in box when you are logged in.

It is quite normal to have a regular main poll on websites. If it is on the front page, more people are likely to vote.

Then I can try to fix that! I didn't think that anyone used it.

Several people have alredy opened up blogs so clearly some people welcome them.

If it is a text size problem, that can be fixed.

Sad it had to change! It started as a great UKIP forum that member could rally togather and express ourselves without the all to common PC brigade interfering, didn't bother me who logged on to put their views across Con, Lab, BNP, Lib/dims... so on. It was a breath of fresh air. It now seems personal political agenda is now more important than the true liberals of the world which mean tolerance and freedom of speech to express ones true opinions.

Don't let it get dragged down with RED TAPE. It was and still is the UKIP unoffical forum!!!

I have to say I also preferred the old site layout, but that might just be a familiarity thing.

One thing I do agree about from above is that I miss being able to see the last poster on each section

The reason this is useful is if you are at work you can instantly see if someone has posted to any thread, at present you can only see that someone has posted in say the general section then you have to open each one to find out which thread it is posted on. Saying that your link does solve this problem only trouble is now i have quite a few different links. :?

What about a few more Emoticons

I added a link into the menu on the left hand side of the front page as well, so one click and you are there.

I think that you need to delete the cookie for the site, and ensure that you are only using one domain (i.e. democracyforum.co.uk).
