I just wanted to say thanks to the Christian party for having the decency and belief in free speech to debate with Nick Griffin. It was a great programme and I truly believe the Christian Party and BNP could work together. We have the experience and political will to do what needs to be done but we do come across as lacking compassion. The Christian party lacks experience and the political strength but has compassion and spiritually to keep us on track. Thanks again and I, for one, wont forget what you did.

Yes, I also quite like the Christian Party. I also commend George Heargraves to have the courage and integrity to admit that they were wrong to call the BNP nazis in their billboard campaign.

Looking at the news today and the Christian lady losing her case about wearing a crucifix at work, I wonder if Christians really know which political party is on their side. Take care who you vote for, you might be a turkey voting for Christmas.

I'm not sure why this nurse's case has got anything to do with party politics but I would agree that Christians are very misguided and divided about which is their proper political party.

I suppose the divide is between the naive and idealistic, and the more practical and world weary Christians. In that TV debate the station owner expresses his "no borders" conviction, apparently oblivious that if the world had no borders people from poor countries would start moving en masse into the rich countries and it would be absolute chaos.

The Christian Party itself is in favour of immigration control. It is also in favour of low taxes and minimal government, an American style of policy which probably stems from its support in the black gospel community. This probably annoys white social reformist Christians who would be more likely to support Labour because thay still believe that it is the party which would redistribute wealth from the rich to the poor, oblivious to the fact that Labour has been hijacked by Marxists who view the extinction of Christianity as a necessary step towards social transformation and a New World Order.

There is also a good argument that the Conservatives are the natural party of British Christianity - I used to know somebody at a church who was staunchly Conservative, and he was gay as well - but then plenty of Christians object to Thatcher, although they have been brainwashed by the media into believing that she was evil and don't realise the bigger picture was to try and free Britain from creeping socialism.

I find the targeting of Christians by the BNP a bit creepy personally.

I am not sure the word 'targeting' is right, but politics has always been about making alliances and getting support from groups with a common interest. The Conservatives think they have friends among the Countryside Alliance. They are also now trying to win friends among the Islamic community. Labour and Lib Dems are also trying to win over the Muslims. I, and others in the BNP, am simply saying that Christians are in danger of being left behind of politics and left out in society as a whole. The Left are setting the agenda; same sex marriages (and if you have a Bed and Breakfast as a Christian you have to accept them), abortions on demand, promotion of homosexuality, empty churches and now not being able to wear at crucifix at work. Christians can either pray and do nothing material on this world or get active and do something to change things for the better. Or do Christians want someone else to do the job for them?
