Default Brief extract

Brief extract from the BBC report on the link given in the first posting to this thread:

The House of Lords has voted against holding a referendum on the EU Treaty. Peers dismissed a Conservative proposal by a margin of 62 votes. The Tories argued the treaty was largely similar to the discarded EU Constitution. But the government and Lib Dems said it was not needed as the treaty would not alter the UK's own constitution. The Lords vote - by 280 to 218 - clears the way for the bill ratifying the EU treaty to become law next week.

Petrina is just starting out
Default

Not one mention on the News or on Newsnight ,utterly disgraceful .
Time we all complained about this lack of coverage .There was masses of coverage of the 42 day vote in the Commons but not one word about this .All in all a good day to slip this by the British public .
