Default Tory MP of Polish origin calls for new Bank Holiday to mark Polish contribution"

Conservative MP Daniel Kawcyznski, who is of Polish origin, has called on the House of Commons to support a Bill which would establish a Bank Holiday to commemorate "the contribution of Polish citizens to the UK since 1940". Mr. Kawcyznski said last month that the UK Government should stop EU Elections in the UK being held by proportional representation (UKIP won 12 seats in the EU 'Parliament' in the last EU Election - the proportional list voting system was used).

Over half a million Poles are working in the UK - critics say east european workers are driving down wages.

More about Mr. Kawcyznski's Bank Holiday idea at:

BBC NEWS | UK | BBC blamed for attacks on Poles

Kawcyznski: "9 out of 10 immigrants to our country are not Poles...and yet ... the liberal elite of the BBC are using the Poles as a cats paw.... and as a result of that, Mr Humphreys, there are increasing attacks on Poles in this country."

John Humphreys: "We [the BBC] are responsible for the increasing number of attacks on Poles in this country?"

Kawcyznski: "Absolutely."

Some say the poles are hard workers but i disagree because they have to keep on putting mistakes right and this means extra work so they always are busy when the gaffer is about.
cockup after cockup after cockup because they all say they are engineers of trades like piping which needs a good bit of skill and exprences on jobs.
But some manage to bluf it out.

I have been informed that most of the 'skilled' workers who are coming over here received their 'qualification' after attending a six week course. It would explain why so many jobs get botched, or why they spend so much time on the same job.

The real problem is that most folk immediately blame the Poles etc. It is NOT their fault. No one can blame them for trying to earn a good wage, it's the system that allows them to take advantage of this Country that is the problem. And that rests squarely with the Marxist/Communist led NewLabour Party.

That explains it then - he's a publicity seeking idiot.

The EU imposed proportional representation voting for the Euro Elections as the fairest system possible across all member states. It's a fundamental part of the EU structure and somehow, I doubt if the rest of the EU is going to support a bid by Britain to get rid of it.

The original documents are available via the EU website. There are also copious research papers in the House of Commons library. Any MP who can't be bothered to do basic research before he sounds off is either intellectually deficient or more concerned with publicity than accuracy.

Do the people of Shrewbury and Atcham want a Bank Holiday for Poles or for St George's day? They voted the man into Parliament with a majority of 1808. Perhaps they will vote him out again.
