Well, the Tory constantly criticize our ruling Labour for their bungling in economic and social sphere. But in reality our opposition forces themselves bring to naught some efforts of their political opponents in these fields of British domestic policy.
Take, for instance, recent decision of London’s new rightwing mayor, B. Johnson. He has decided to terminate cheap fuel deal with Venezuela, made last year with the Labour former mayor, K. Livingstone, because, as he said, it was “an unfair subsidy to London by a country in which many people live in extreme poverty”. Just think of it! The deal that funded half-price (!) bus and tram travel for our poorest residents was called him “an unfair subsidy to one of the world’s financial powerhouse”! And what about our poor Britons, Mr. Johnson? You say that you see “another better ways of benefiting them”. And where are they? Your spokesman has declared that there is no plan to expend the fares policy! It proves that both ruling and oppositional authorities in this country are more interested in pursuing their ideological plans on their struggle for power than improving the living standards of British people! |

Venezuela probably represents Ken Livingstone's ideal system of government, lifestyle and world outlook.

Nope unfortunately bloody Thatcher does. That is the truth, we have been embarking on her pro-rich economics for over 25 years and it has done us no end of harm.

The results of the first opinion poll since the Crewe-Nantwich Parliamentary By-Election of 22.5.2008 have been published in today's Daily Telegraph - and the Cameron-Tories are down 2% in the new YouGov poll compared to one conducted by YouGov earlier this month:
Cameron-Tories down 2% in new opinion poll - but still well ahead of Labour |
